In memory of Geok Yong Tan（陈玉雄）

Dear Relatives and Friends,

It is with great sadness that I must inform you of the passing of Geok Yong Tan (Chen Yu Xiong 陳玉雄). After a 10 day long battle, he died of complications relating to pneumonia at St Paul's Hospital in Vancouver on Feb 14, 2018.

It has been such a sudden loss to me and our family, and we are trying very hard to cope with this very difficult time. Our two daughters are lending me support, taking time off from their jobs, so there may be some delay in our response to any communications during this time.

There will be a short memorial service at 11:00a.m. Tuesday (Feb 20) at Kearney Funeral Services at 450 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver, BC, Canada(www.kearneyfs.com). We realize it is short notice, but it would be nice to hear from anyone who can come celebrate his life. As Yong (Yu Xiong) and I were in the middle of selling our house and planning a move to Calgary, we do not have an address to receive anything at this time, but we know we will be in your thoughts.
