Barisan Nasional steps down, Pakatan Harapan holds reins
——New era of hope

Malaya and Malaysia were ruled by a party called Barisan Nasional which included MCA, MIC, UMNO etc. UMNO is the leading party to make final decision.

During the 61 years of ruling, each party has to take care of their race's interest in order to get support for election. Some political party even using religion of ethnic to gain power and hold reins of state.

DAP once calling all people of Malaysia to be Malaysian, irrespective of race, creed or colour; and Anwar emphasized "we are one family", unfortunately he was thrown to jail.

Tun Dr Mahathir reined 22 years, he took good care of "bumiputra", by imposing the new economic policy: once he stepped down Pak Lah took over for a short period and then Najib to be prime minister and minister of finance. He set up 1MDB and passed anti fake news act. He was alleged to abuse of power and condemned by Tun Mahathir. Tun raised him up in GE12 and pulled him down in GE14. And Tun Mahathir returned to power by using his enemy Anwar and Lim Kit Siang etc to form Pakatan Harapan. The oldest leader Tun Mahathir (93) sworn in on 10.5.2018 as 7th prime minister of Malaysia.

During Tun Mahathir's rein of 22 years, he admitted he was not perfect; now we hope he will lead us to a new era of hope—true democracy, justice and harmony without cronyism, creed or colour. And we hope the defeated party of BN, reorganise their party irrespective race and religion to form a new coalition to compete with Pakatan Harapan and push Malaysia to an advanced nation by fair competition.
