南洋大学是人民群众在困难重重和政府反对的逆境之下，不可为而为地萌芽成长及完成了它的使命，它是世界上绝无仅有的大学，将来也不可能会出现像南洋大学这样轰轰烈烈的大学。

　　南洋理工大学是新加坡政府开办的，新加坡政府亦可轻易地在云南园再多开办一间大学，政府大学比比皆是，南洋理工大学的历史是很普通的。

　　南洋理工大学和南洋大学有天渊之别，南洋理工大学不应该企图利用改名来混淆并共享南洋大学天下无双的传奇历史。这阴谋诡计不能永远隐瞒世人，以后的历史家是不会把政府开办的南洋理工大学混进伟大的南洋大学历史里的。

Protect The Good Name Of NU
── NTU Is Not NU

　　Nanyang University was built by general public against the will of government and numerous obstacles. Its success was truly a MIRACLE. The name "Nanyang University" ought to represent this precious heritage. There is only one such university in the whole world and it is unlikely to have any future university that is as magnificent as Nanyang University.

　　NTU is one of hundreds of universities built by governments in this world. With relative ease, Singapore government can build yet another new university near NTU. There are lot of government universities. The history of NTU is quite ordinary.

　　NTU and NU are very different universities. NTU should not attempt to use name change to mix up and share the unique and legendary history of NU. This plot can not fool all the people forever. Future historians will not include the government built NTU into the great history of NU.
